Sometimes an album has a really good collection of songs but the tracklist is orderered so generically or just flat out wrong that it hinders the overall work.
I feel like this is especially the case with Confident, so if YOU were reordering its tracklist, how would you put it together.

I think Confident is a good album opener
and should have stayed as one only but CFTS is obviously only after it because it was the lead single. I stuck Old Ways & Waitin For You in the second & third slot instead because she talks about her past in those tracks and how she's come out of it stronger than ever so they fit the narrative of the title track much better.
From CFTS to Kindom Come I see the narrative as her hookin up with someone who's got a strong sexual and emotional power over her. With For You & Yes she's expressing how much she loves them but by Stone Cold the relationship becomes too much and she realizes she has to let them go. With Father she realizes her Dad is partly to blame for her attachment issues but she forgives him anyway and then I would end the record on Lionheart because I think its a stronger ending track as a tribute to her dog. The bonus tracks would stay where they are.
