Remini has been disturbed about the whereabouts of Shelly Miscavige, the wife of David Miscavige, the head of the Church of Scientology.
Shelly Miscavige has been seen only once since 2006. Remini filed a missing persons report but the LAPD called it 'unfounded'. The treatment was brutal and Remini says she was billed $300,000.
Remini had confronted Miscavige in 2005 at the lavish wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes..
This religion is not to be messed with, i've seen some messed up docs and read a few of the books exposing them and they do some pretty downright scary stuff to people who leave them or try and expose their secrets.
Scientology will likely sue her for defamation but nothing will come of it. I fully expect fake stories and websites defaming her character to start popping up soon. They won't dare make any moves publicly against her person or do anything affecting her or her family's physical safety. Her ordeals with them is too public, it'll be instantly linked to them.
