British MP disrespects the Queen, has been declared missing

Where is Jeremy Corbyn after standing up the Queen?
Missing: one 66-year-old, grey-haired man with beard.
Last seen in public on Monday evening in an agitated state, wearing a brown tweed jacket and green-striped shirt.
The hunt for Jeremy Corbyn is continuing amid growing concern he has disappeared.
Albeit mainly in order to avoid meeting the Queen.
His whereabouts remained unknown with suggestions the Labour leader had gone on a very short break which, as it happens, allowed him to avoid a very thorny dilemma. For the alternative to a few days off was an engagement at Buckingham Palace on Thursday where Mr Corbyn would have been affirmed as a member of the Privy Council.
At the Privy Council ceremony, Mr Corbyn, a lifelong Republican, would have been required to do the following:
1. kneel before Her Majesty, 2. kiss her hand, and 3. swear an oath of allegiance to the monarch.
I mean, last I checked isn't the queen just a figurehead?
She is just a figurehead but she's our country's history and brings in mass revenue from tourism. It's very disappointing to see Jeremy behave this way but what do you expect from an extremist?
Quite frankly, due to the amount of money they bring in through tourism and the amount it helps with our economy she's welcome to some of it.
That is a myth, she doesn't really do much for tourism
Quote:
Tourism revenue is not only irrelevant to a debate about our constitution, the suggestion that the monarchy promotes tourism is also untrue. There is not a single shred of evidence to back this up. Of the top 20 tourist attractions in the UK only one royal residence makes it: Windsor Castle at number 17 (beaten comfortably by Windsor Legoland, in at number 7). Royal residences account for less than 1% of total tourist revenue. Indeed, the success of the Tower of London (number 6 in the list) suggests that tourism would benefit if Buckingham Palace and Windsor castle were vacated by the Windsor family.
That is a myth, she doesn't really do much for tourism
But I see it with my own eyes. Thousands upon thousands of tourists visit Buckingham Palace daily. I don't care, the Royal Family do a lot of good for our country in many aspects.
he's a politician, he doesn't have to do anything in servitude to the monarchy - hes been against the monarchy his whole life, the people who voted for him were always aware of this
anyway, david cameron also missed a privy council meeting for the same reasons, the right wing press have a personal vendetta against him - its embarrassing

an 'extremist' i could probably guess what newspaper your family buys

So what? Thousands upon thousands of tourists visit Versailles Palace and there's no royal family in France.
