Gaga to perform and be honored at Columbus Day Parade
The parade brings together 35,000 marchers, including over 100 groups, bands, floats and dignitaries participating in the annual fall rite in New York City celebrating Italian heritage. This year, the Grand Marshal is Alberto Cribiore, Vice Chairman of Citi Institutional Group. Honorees include Guy Chiarello, President of First Data, Aldo Verrelli, President of A Verrelli and Associates and the Humanitarian Award to Stefani Germanotta, aka Lady Gaga, and her mother Cynthia for their work with the Born This Way Foundation. There's also a segment about the numerous scholarship the Foundation awards to young Italian-American students.
UNICO members, their families and friends are invited to participate in this year's 71st Annual
New York City Columbus Day Parade on Monday, October 12, 2015. There will be musical
