17-year-old Russian Andrey Retrovsky was killed when he fell from a nine-story building, which he'd climbed up for the sole purpose of getting a cool photo.
According to local news, he was "addicted to posing for photos in dangerous situations, whether he was hanging from the ledge of a high-rise apartment building or standing precariously on the edge of metal scaffolding."
He was the twelfth person this year to perish for the sake of a photo op, meaning that more people have died due to selfies than shark attacks in 2015.
