So you're just going to ban 6 billion people from practicing their faith? There are no violent religions just violent people, there are terroristic Buddhists too.
No, everybody should be free to subscribe to their chosen religion but, that religion shouldn't be given more rights than another or be given the right to openly discriminate against a group of people.
I'm fine with people that practice religion for the sake of enlightenment, transendence, peace and source for solstice.
But when it interferes with human rights, government and other areas where it is unnecessary then we have a problem. Especially the fanatic ones that go to extreme measures to opress and kill in the name of religion.

I agree with religious freedom. I just disagree it entitles churches to tax exempt status and entitles people to just take off work whenever a so called religious holiday comes up. Its like if your religion is so important to you use the vacation days and sick days you already have. Its not fair to others that some employees get to double their vacation time simply because of their religion. Religion also shouldnt trump others civil and human rights as well as civil liberties.
You can't just ban religions. Faith is something you believe in. You can't take that away from anyone.

We clearly control how people should behave (laws) and think (about civil rights, racism). So why don't we do he same with religious organzations and their followers?
People don't seem to realize that it stands for the ability to practice whichever religion you follow. Not discriminate or create laws against those who misalign with your beliefs.
