Democrats are the ones who are most likely to acknowledge slavery while Republicans will sidestep the issue. Members of which party do you think are less likely to acknowledge the history of the Confederate flag?

You act like religion wasn't literally beat into slaves. Don't you find it odd that the only thing white supremacist and most black Americans have in common is that they're Christian Americans?
Are you also aware of the Irish slave trade? The British treated them like human livestock for hundreds of years. Slavery was not even exclusive to white people. It was global. Asia experienced slavery as well amongst their own as well as by whites in the 1800s. The pyramids = blacks enslaving blacks... I'm sure you know all this though.

Your response is completely perpendicular to mine. I was responding to your claim that black slavery should be blamed on religion and not the "race card" because it wasn't just whites, but it was. It was a cultural thing. Certain cultures encourage greed, aggression, etc. All those acts by Christian and Muslim conquerors were rationalized using "God" and "manifest destiny," but the aggression and violence was already there.
And yes, I'm aware of slavery deeper into Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, but it's minor compared to the black slave trade and a lot of it was due to Muslim or Christian invaders.
