I LOVE this show so much, from the iconic theme song to the characters and the school shooting episode in S4
I remember my first time watching the show, I was over my cousins house and she was flicking through the channels and the episode when Haley and Nathan drove off the bridge after graduation was on at the exact moment when the car crashed and I told her to go back and from that day forward I had been a fan of the show.
Like, it was better than The O.C. to me... although it slowly went downhill after S4. By S6 it was hard to sit through without cringing but I made it through all 9 seasons

It's funny to think how The OC and One Tree Hill came out the same year but I personally believe One Tree Hill was the better show. I liked both and there are similarities between the two but something about One Tree Hill makes it more iconic. The stories just seemed so much deeper and relatable. One Tree Hilll didn't have their budget or the amount of action that The OC had but the dialogue was always engaging. Also I alway prefered the actors on One Tree Hill more.
I have to agree with everyone the show went down after season 4 and they should have ended it at season 6. The last three seasons were unnecessary, but regardless it was an amazing show.
Love the OP. I've only seen one season but I liked what I saw. Never felt the urge to continue though. I may just buy the box set for Christmas and binge it over the last few days of break.
I started watching OTH late so I watched most of the seasons through reruns or dvds sets. So i never really noticed a decline in quality. Some of my FAVORITE episodes are from the later seasons.

Brooke's hen night episode ! One of the funniest ones.
This show literally had the soundtrack of my life. The music was a big part of it and I discovered so many great songs through it. I just wish I'd watched it earlier as it probably would have helped me in my teen years.

The shooting episode is top 5 for me, maybe top 3. I loved the episode when Peyton and Lucas left, the arc of Peyton's crazy ass half brother trying to kill her
There's also the one where Haley found out Nathan slept with Brooke and recorded it then she socked her at that party

Wait that Peyton arc was everything! The bitterness between her and Brook was so natural and real to me!
