The new single "Un Beso" by Mexican alternative singer songwriter Carla Morrison was released 9/17. The track was reviewed by Pitchfork and compared to the operatic pop of Kate Bush
The new style fits her voice well. Actually she is my second to least favorite out of the Mexican set of indie girls (Julieta, Natalia, Ximena, Lila who I don't use at all) because her folk-ish songs sound all too similar but this sound is interesting for her.

It's funny though because when Natalia Lafourcade is having so much success with a sound similar to Dejame Llorar, Carla decides to switch her sound. It's a wise decision really
