Since when did the word freshman only pertain to one gender?
Edit: I honestly didn't get it at first but now I realize the word "man" is in the word freshman. But I still don't think anyone would find this sexist.
the word is a remnant from a time where women weren't allowed to pursue any type of formal, higher education
it's not necessarily sexist, but there's nothing wrong with a little more inclusion
but god forbid anyone takes a few seconds to consider the etymology and the load of a few words because SJW! PC gone awry! etc.
