1. Jennifer Lopez (40) – mom of twins
Although motherhood came a little later than expected, J-Lo is a happy mother of twins Emme Maribel and Maximilian David, now 2. From Jenny from the block to Jennifer, the mommy, there was a long way with failed marriages and celebrity relationships (remember the Ben Affleck episode?!). Wife of Marc Anthony, Jennifer is now back to work and currently is filming for The Back-up Plan. Asked about her role as an expectant mother, Jennifer said: “It’s such an emotional ride, such a romantic time and there’s so many beautiful things or funny things that happen. You look back and think, ‘Did I cry over that?”
2. Angelina Jolie
When talking about Angelina, well, we had to take a pen and some paper and write down all the kids that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have. Angelina is a mother/saint for children adopted from 3rd world countries. Angelina starred in the “Anyone seen my baby” video from The Rolling Stones, in 1997. Who would have thought the rebel girl will end up being a full time mother and successful actress ten years later? Last time we checked, Angie was mother for 6 children: Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Pax Thien (all adopted), Shiloh Nouvel, Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline (biological children)
3. Ashlee Simpson
Sister of singer Jessica Simpson, Ashlee is the rebel member of the Simpson family. Nobody would have thought she would be the first to have a baby. She married Pete Wentz in 2008 and at the end of the same year she gave birth to Bronx Mowgli Wentz. Why is she a famous mom? Because at only 24 she managed to be a successful singer, a good wife and a respected mother for Bronx.
4. Nicole Kidman
Rumors has it that Nicole had a miscarriage after the divorce from Tom Cruise. After meeting Keith Urban, the Australian country singer, Nicole’s life changed. At 40 she gave birth to Sunday Rose, a beautiful baby girl who is very much loved by her step-brothers (adopted by Kidman and Cruise during the marriage), Isabella and Connor. Also, rumors has it that Nicole is slowing down on her career for baby no. 2.
5. Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba because she’s one of the most beautiful ladies and mothers in this world. Honor Marie is very happy to have a mom like Jessica. The two spend lots of time in the park, Jessica even slowed down her career just to raise Honor Marie. And that is what a true mother does for her child!
6. Heidi Klum
Well, the German model is one sexy mother. Mother of 4 biological children, Heidi is still in business, working hard for her children. She’s a Victoria’s Secret angel, a gorgeous wife of Seal and mother to 4 lovely children: Johan, Henry, Leni and Lou.
7. Sarah Jessica Parker
The Sex and the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, are one of the few Hollywood couples who had their twins delivered via a surrogate mother. The twins, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, alongside older brother James Wilkie, have completed the Parker-Broderick family.
8. Madonna
Famous for her musical career, failed marriages and sex scandals. The thing is that Madonna is not only an icon but also a very loving mother. She created special principles for her and her daughters and has disclosed her identity as a strict mother for her daughter, Lourdes. Wanting to help, Madonna adopted 2 orphans from 3rd world countries, just like Angelina Jolie. Happily, David Banda and Mercy are much better off with Madonna.
9. Jennifer Garner
The Alias star, Jennifer Garner, has become a celebrity mom after marrying Ben Affleck and giving birth to their first baby daughter: Violet. The difference between Jennifer and other celebrity moms is that she tries to keep her daughter away from the tabloid scandals and media speculations. Jennifer believes in keeping her mom priorities above her career. In 2009 Jennifer gave birth to the couple’s second child, a baby girl named Seraphina Rose Elizabeth.
10. Marie Curie (1897-1956)
