Christina Aguilera got her assistant to queue for hours to pick her up the latest computer.
The singer was desperate to get her hands on an Apple iPad when they were released in the US on April 3, but wasn’t keen on queuing with other hopefuls. She despatched a staff member to wait in line for her, but showed her appreciation with a shock phone call.
“She didn’t want to stand in line,” a source explained. “The assistant had to wait there for hours and hours in the baking hot sun. But it was alright in the end because Christina surprised her.”
Christina realised her request was beyond the call of duty, so decided to do something nice for her helpful assistant. When the member of staff called to let her know how long she would be, Christina told her to treat herself to one of the state of the art items too.
