Kris Jenner, 59, spoke out in support of her daughter Kendall's friend, reposting the words to her own social networking pages.
She wrote:
'This is from one of the sweetest, smartest, and most beautiful girl inside and out, in the world.
'Why do people with no life, no purpose, who are angry and bitter and ignorant, or just plain nasty and mean, choose to bring everyone else down instead of finding the best in others?
'I will never understand the BULLYS that lurk on Instagram just to try and ruin someone else's spirit.
'If all of their horrible negative energy was focused on being positive and seeing good, imagine what a better more peaceful place this world would be.

I mean, she's a model. People will judge her for her looks (positively or negative) it's part of the job
I would understand if she was a TV reporter or another profession where her body or look weren't part of her job

This is a publicity stunt. No one actually hates on her or calls her fat–people WORSHIP her. She's just doing this for sympathy, fishing for compliments.

Everyone that follows fashion KNOWS why she's there. She does the opposite of "change" and "acceptance" with the background she comes from.
Models who bring true change and acceptance were regular girls who became mega famous in one's own right. They achieved celebrity on merit of being a sought after fashion model, not the other way around. Now it's sought after for being a celebrity either through social media, or nepotism.
However, girls such as Karlie, Jourdan, Joan, Liu etc have worked hard to achieve being known around the world. They are regular girls, from humble backgrounds, who had a good body of work even before people knew who they were. What makes women like Linda, Naomi, Christy, Gisele, Natalia, Lara etc etc so great is that they went from having limited opportunity, living normal lives, worrying about doing well in school, to having their lives change over night and now having all these great things happen, through hard work and being great models. And of course, they created discussions about feminity, sexuality, body, power & beauty. With the the likes of Gigi, i don't see it. She's not embraced by so many designers or photographers, she don't defined our era of fashion in terms of actual fashion. She ( kendell, Cara etc) are just fun girls who are having fun and taking all the opportunities to live their fun life. Modelling for them is as glamourous as any pages of Vogue. |
