The dance remixes of "Halo" were some of the hottest I've ever heard for a ballad.

Consumers didn't like Video Phone, and I'm sure most critics gave it pretty mediocre reviews. To most people, Beyoncé had 4 singles from IASF: IIAWB, SL, Halo, and SD. Even if it was the last single, if it was good it would've cracked the top 40 and it didn't.

That didn't stop the deluded Beyonce fans bragging that it was going to be number 1 on the Hot 100 did it?

It was an updated version of a song already on her album, but nevertheless it was a new version of the song. There's no excuse for its failure.
