Quote:
If the Oscars were tomorrow and voters could consider only contenders that have already been screened, Spotlight would win best picture, Tom McCarthy (Spotlight) would win best director, Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl) would win best actor, Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn) would win best actress, Joel Edgerton (Black Mass) would win best supporting actor, Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl) would win best supporting actress, Brooklyn would win best adapted screenplay, Spotlight would win best original screenplay, Inside Out would win best animated feature, Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief would win best documentary feature and “See You Again” (Furious 7) would win best original song.
A year after the #OscarsSoWhite ceremony, Straight Outta Compton will be a best picture Oscar nominee, and two people of color will receive acting noms: Concussion‘s Will Smith and Compton‘s supporting actor Jason Mitchell.
Three recent winners have a strong shot at winning again this cycle: director Alejandro G. Inarritu (Birdman) and actor Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), who won at the most recent Oscars; and actress Jennifer Lawrence (Joy), who won three ceremonies ago.

Actor front runners: Leonardo DiCaprio, Eddie Redmayne, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Michael Fassbender.
Actress front runners: Jennifer Lawrence, Saoirse Ronan, Brie Larson, Charlotte Rampling and Cate Blanchett.
The Revenant, Spotlight and Joy are the top 3 Best Picture front runners.
Now keep this in mind, these are only Hollywood Reporter's predictions. The rest are in the link.
Will Leo finally win?
EDIT: Joy has been receiving mixed reviews, however JLaw has still been getting praise for her performance. Due to the lackluster film, her chances have fallen. Saorise Ronan is the new frontrunner.
