ARTPOP may have been a flop for gaga's standards, but nothing can touch Glitter, probably ever. & lord like you listed, just IMAGINE if Taylor or Bey got dropped for having something similar happen to this, looorrrddd the bans would be legendary

Glitter is the messiest era in pop music history. The soundtrack was released on 9/11, sold 20% of her previous album, the movie tanked horribly and made Mariah a laughing stock, a multi-million dollar contract was issued to get her off the label, that public meltdown she had on TRL, etc.

I don't think I could even imagine an era more catastrophic than that.

In what world? ARTPOP was #1, had two hit singles and a successful tour. Glitter was released on 9/11, flopped, the soundtrack flopped, the movie was panned and became a laughing stock, and she got dropped.
