Whenever I see this being asked, people say that lyrics and being able to understand is too important to them. If this were really the case, idk how they can stan for who they do. I think that the melody/beat is the most important part of a song or music, don't you agree? I think you can sometimes get the gist/feeling of what someone is singing from the mood of the song, the voice, the beat

Of course, different languages add so much to music. Listening to only one language is like listening to only one genre. It's so limiting. And if you want to know what a song is about you can usually find a translation.

And I think it's extra when people say the lyrics are too important for them to enjoy a song. I mean you can just look up the lyrics translated of the song if that's the case, but not even that is enough for them.

I obviously have my preferences though. Like, I don't use Spanish as a language at all, I think it's really annoying. So I just don't bother with ppl singing in Spanish only, at all.
But if I happened to find a really amazing Spanish artist, I think I'd make at least an effort to get into them. Not sure.
