I don't think not wanting kids makes people selfish, either. You can be a generous, kind, considerate person whose plans in life just don't include children. I'd rather not have kids and get to live a life that would fulfill me, than have them to live a life that other people think EVERYONE should find fulfilling, and then resent the kid.

I don't know, when I am much older and have a partner then it would be nice to have children. I would adopt though, other procedures are expensive and unreliable, and lots of children need a home.

That's interesting, I've never thought that not wanting kids could be seen as selfish. I always thought it would be more selfish to have a huge bunch of kids beyond your means to take proper care of.

That's how I see it. I don't really want kids myself but if my partner did I would do it, but I would insist on adopting for the same reason.

Bringing someone into this world is like the worst thing ever to do to someone. I'd adopt.

I've never found children adorable, I've never understood people with more than two and don't know how to communicate with them. It's not that I hate them or judge people who want them, but I would much rather not put all of my time and money into raising a child. It's just not an attractive idea to me.
