American multifaceted artist, the one and only Jennifer Lopez is working so hard this year. She appeared in the risqué low-budget thriller The Boy Next Door, the independent film Lila & Eve, and the animated feature “Home“, alongside Steve Martin and Rihanna.
Lopez also ventures into television. NBC ordered a 13-episode television drama Shades of Blue, in which Lopez will star and executive co-produced it with her friend Ryan Seacrest. If all this were not enough, JLo is also currently working on two new music projects, an Christmas album and another Spanish-language album which could be launched in 2016.
She was worked in the studio to record a few new tracks with Rodney Jerkins, the prolific producer behind “If You Had My Love“, her first hit from 16 years ago, and the Destiny’s Child smash “Say My Name“, among others. During the interview with Access Hollywood at the presentation of the 14th edition of American Idol, the singer has confirmed that she has dined with Meghan Trainor and have talked about working together.
In May 2015, Lopez announced her Las Vegas residency concert show called “All I Have” which is to commence on January 20, 2016; the first of twenty initial dates. It will take place at Planet Hollywood’s The AXIS theater. Besides, Jennifer Lopez also followed Missy Elliott on Twitter denoting that both artists have been working on something together.
Jason Derulo confirmed that he was working with JLo in this new project in some tracks, one of them is called “Try Me“, including Caribbean rhythm and finally included on Derulo’s album “Everything Is 4“, released in May 29th.
During an interview with BuzzFeed, Ne-Yo revealed he was working with her in some music. He said:
I was actually kickin’ with JLo talking about some music that we’re gonna put together, and we were talking about great directors. She said she really really liked Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama” music video and was wondering who directed it, so yeah, I looked it up!
Production team The Monsters also confirmed that they have worked with JLo in the studio. They are also responsible of Rita Ora’s new single “Body On Me“ with Chris Brown.
Lopez debuted an alleged remix of her new single called “Breaking Me Down” during iHeartRadio Music Festival afterparty at Chateau Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday September 19th.
