I agree she didin't even have a top ten single but it still debut at #1 in the U.S, UK & many other places.
and charts aside, it's a huge success actually because it has become her best album to that date (untill beyonce) and managed to transform her into even bigger star loved by critics. 4 was a huge hit with critics and is till being put on various best of list.
very important album for her, it is the album that started a while new other beyonce that led to "beyonce".
plus, it is amazing album.
it slayed rnb charts in the year when EDM was at its peak. promo wa sstrong at the beginning of the era but stopped since she got pregnant. multiple leaks, messy single releases,,,,
