Poll: 1997/8 best year for pop girls?

So I just noticed that these 5 pop legends all released there BEST albums during this time. So was this the best year for the pop girls? What was this generations of pop girls 1997/1998? Which is your fave out of these 5 amazing records?

For the new generation, I'd say 2006/2007.
The Velvet Rope is my favorite from that list.

Impossible Princess obviously but I like 4/5 of them.

Good year for music yes, but Spiceworld isn't even half as good as their first album

I LOVE all of these albums. They are my favourites from these particular artists.

So, yes I would say 1997/1998 was a great time in pop music for females.

Fast forward to 2014/2015 and we have Rebel Heart/Kiss Me Once/Vulnicura/Me. I Am Mariah/Unbreakable

I can't really think of a time where the new generation came close.
I suppose 2010/2011 was Teenage Dream/Animal+Cannibal/Femme Fatale/Born this Way/4
But I don't think that's anywhere near as good as the 1997/1998 period to be honest.
