When you listen to a song, do you usually do that by watching the music video (on YouTube/Vevo) or do you listen to the song on iTunes/Spotify etc..?

No I like having an accurate flawless last fm im so bad sometimes when I want to watch one of my faves videos I play the song on mute on itunes in the background while watching the video so it scrobbles to last fm I need a life i'm aware

No. I'm so bad at keeping up with music videos . I know I should keep on top of them since they can often add another interesting dimension to a song, but I usually don't check them unless they're really buzzy or by one of my favorite artists (and even them sometimes I don't watch them)

Nope. I don't really care about music videos : if it's good ok... If it's not too bad but I forget it instantly.
The last video I had a crash on was Break The Rules : I watched it on repeat.

Rarely do I watch music videos. I like to use my own creativity or have no visual image in my mind actually. Music is more important to me than visuals. Sometimes music videos disappoint me a lot and can tarnish the song a bit.

I used to do this. I don't rely on last.fm much anymore because it doesn't match my iTunes perfectly and I need accurate, exact numbers. That's why I don't use Spotify because it doesn't give the numbers I'm so bad too. Everyone points it out (even though they don't know I track plays) and I just say it's nothing. Like I barely watch music videos of songs I already own.
