Nicola Sturgeon to David Cameron: Stop ignoring Scotland.
Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon wrote a note in light of the one year anniversary of the Scottish independence referendum, in which Scotland voted no to independence.
Quote:
It was a mood and a moment that was spectacularly misjudged by David Cameron, as he stood on the steps of Downing Street and chose to make Scotland's expression of self determination all about a Tory obsession with English votes for English laws.
[...]
So, my message to David Cameron today is the same as it was when I met him just after the general election.
What happens to support for independence in the months and years to come will depend as much on what you do as it will on what we do.
And, right now, you are living on borrowed time.
If you continue to ignore Scotland's voice, if you continue to disrespect the choice that people across this country made in May, more and more people will conclude that Westminster simply can't deliver for Scotland.
So, it is your choice, Prime Minister – but know that Scotland is watching.

The SNP have announced plans to begin a second Scottish Independence referendum campaign in their manifesto for the 2016 Scottish election. So get ready for more Yes vs. No, hihi!

The Scottish Nationalist Party will always rally against the Tories. And the truth is, polls would suggest a referendum in 5 years time would probably be a Yes from Scotland. She's very happy to admit defeat, she writes so in the same article. This is what the SNP's whole campaign is.

Yes Nicola tell him
She's been so smart with her requests. Everyone knows that Cameron promised her that he would do more for Scotland after the referendum and election and it just hasn't happened. The Scottish GP are starting to get irritated now and another referendum will likely result in a sweeping yes. I voted no the first time, but I honestly don't know what I'll do in the next one...

okay so we are devolving and have devolved a fair bit
if we haven't done enough, please provide a specific example of where we have fallen short

Everything excluding Defence, Foreign Affairs, the Constitution and Currency should be devolved.
Income Tax is to be devolved, but without power over Corporation Tax and Welfare it's a completely useless power, you can't build a balanced economy when you can only slightly alter one aspect of Taxation.

Right, I think you need to look past "devolved powers" though. Scotland are still muted in the general election, and one of their big arguments right now is the EU debate since Scotland want in and David Cameron specifically wants us out. There's a massive blurred line between the SNP and the Tories. For as long as both are in power, they'll never see eye to eye. That almost works in Nicola's favour, using the Tories to get the extra 10% of voters and get a Yes vote in the near future.

I think this isn't in the spirit of unity and I'd disagree with it, but this is actually a clear cut answer with a logic behind it so now they need to hurry up and say this properly, they'd get a lot more done tbh.

Not to mention we don't want to spend much on nuclear weapons. England do, but they want US to store them? We're the one part of GB that's against it. No sorry, store them in England plz.

It's hardly an overwhelming majority like the SNP make out.
And they're there for a reason, where do you think they would (hopefully hypothetically) need to be deployed?
