There have been whispers about a sequel for some time, but knowing the sheer amount of work it takes, it'll probably be like a 2017/18 release. Which I CANNOT handle.

The ending of the first game left a lot to explore.

SPOILERS - I think Ellie live with Joel in that camp for a while, till she discovers he lied about the Fireflies, then she will run off or w/e, he will go after her, etc, etc.
