As you know, Last.fm usually gives their subscribers BETA pages to test out and get feedback from, but this new change to Last.fm has included EVERYONE! I've got to say... I love it.
Here are some new features:
- On demand full tracks are no longer available. Instead, you can hear the full song at Spotify and The Hype Machine. Playing any song from these sites now counts as scrobbles on Last.fm!
THIS DOES NOT AFFECT PLAYS ON LAST.FM RADIO
- A new graph on the right side of the page detailing more information about a track's listeneing data. Including listening trends and the first time you played it!
- Inline 30-second previews of songs. This is an old feature that was removed, but is now back.
- The "Play" button has been tweaked.
- No more official videos. YouTube embedded videos only.
- No more profile player on your profile page. Nobody was using it, so taking it off makes the pages load much faster. Better for the servers.
Here are some features coming VERY SOON:
- MOG scrobbling.
- We7 scrobbling. (For UK users.)
- Being able to embed Vevo videos.
- VEVO SCROBBLING!!!!!!!!
