Nah, Harry's been pro gay since day one. This is one of many times he has waved the flag and spoken on the subject.

Not surprised people would belittle his actions and in the same breathe moan that straights are homophobic.

I doubt 1D care much about using the gay community. They've got enough tweens and little girls to sell out stadiums. It's nice that they'd do such a thing in front of their very impressionable audience.
