Mariah and Jermaine Dupri back in the recording studio
The unparalleled duo of Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri was back in the lab working on the follow-up to last year’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel at J.D.’s Southside Studios in Atlanta on Friday (April 9). “The song of the decade crew is back in the lab,” the “We Belong Together” producer told Rap-Up.com. “This [is] the first day of the new ****.”
Mariah appeased her fans with the good news. “To all the Lambs in the land..Finally!!! Me& Jermash are in his studio reliving the splendor working on new ish,” she tweeted.
omg, cant wait..........this means that we will get a brand new studio album and a brand new christmas album.....hopefully they will be released before the end of the year.....
Although she should really take a break this is great news, now that she's back in the studio working, what could be better than her working with the producers who made the song of the decade?
As much as I hate to say it, I agree. Mariah needs to take some time off. You gotta make people miss you. All radio is gonna do is see this as another failed attempt. I don't see what Jermaine can do that The-Dream couldn't. "Hate U" and "Ribbon" easily rivals anything Jermaine could do, but they failed. I just think that Mariah needs to pull a Christina and wait a few years. Unfortunately for her, time isn't on her side. I still would like to see her let some other people write for her on her next album, and maybe sprinkle in some tracks like "Time Of Your Life."
