With its big debut around the corner, the Oprah Winfrey Network is securing a stellar lineup of programming. On tap is a reality show starring Shania Twain, according to People.
The hour-long "Why Not? With Shania Twain" series will be broadcast on OWN, though a premiere date has not yet been announced. "The show will follow [Twain] as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures," the network told People.
Shania has been chronicling her life since her marriage to Robert "Mutt" Lange crumbled due to the revelation he had an alleged affair with her friend and employee Marie-Anne Thiébaud. The devastating news brought the singer and Frédéric Thiébaud, Marie-Anne's ex-husband, closer together. He has been documenting the multi-Grammy Award-winner's world travels, posting the videos on her website.
