Charli XCX has become the poster girl for the tampon with eager fans throwing their hygiene products onto the stage in celebration.
Charli thinks the subject of feminine hygiene should not be taboo and women should celebrate their periods.
Fans have showed their support by throwing their - presumably unused - tampons onto the stage at her gigs.
At recent gigs she has wielded an inflatable guitar, writhed around the stage while simulating oral sex and encouraged audience members to lift their middle fingers in the air.
