Cascada Talks About Possible 4th Album, Lady GaGa & Britney
Quote:
Is this single launching a new album?
"It will one day, but it's not currently in connection with anything in particular. I'm sure it will be on an album eventually, but right now we're just trying to bring out a few new and exciting songs to surprise people."
Do you have any plans to release an album though?
"Well, we're always working on an album really because we're collecting and recording tracks all the time. One day we'll sit down and choose the best ones and bind them together for an album."

Your recent output has often been described as "GaGa-esque". Is she a big influence on you?
"You know, it's really easy to compare music in the same genre and say it sounds similar. I wouldn't really say that we sound like Lady GaGa and I wouldn't really say that she sounds like us. We're two completely different artists and we do different things. The comparison is silly but it comes up because she's the woman on everyone's lips at the moment, which is understandable because she's incredible. But I don't really have time to check out interviews and videos of hers. The few times I do, I think 'Why on earth do they compare us?' I don't get it, but I definitely take it as a compliment!

What was it like supporting Britney last year?
"Being able to perform on her stage was so special. Rising up on the podium and listening to the crowd roar all through this huge arena was incredible. My heart was pounding! It was nerve-wracking too, because obviously the audience was there to see another artist, but thankfully they really enjoyed the show. It was such an honour to be asked and it's something I'll never forget."
ew, the digital spy review of the song is awful. im not sure how this song will chart tbh, it deserves to get top 3 at least but, i dont know ...
i was hoping there would be a new album soon, but oh well this means they will get a few more singles in beforehand. i also love how they ask her about gaga when they know full well they compare any act they can to gaga, especially cascada. i wonder if Natalie knows they do that.
Natalie knows about the comparisons with her and GaGa. I mean Cascada have been around longer then GaGa and have been around for over 5 years now. They deserve respect.
I don't think the song will chart well either. The release date only got announced a week ago, and there have been no promotion in the UK yet whatso ever. So I'm unsure. But their record label is knows for the lack of promotion when it comes to singles.
The production is quite similar but...
Pyromania is more electro pop than Evacuate The Dancefloor. In Evacuate you have those thrusting beats, however Pyromania has less harder beats.

Cascada is planning to bring out a new single in the next few months
Quote:
Q: What's next for Cascada?
A: We never have any particular plans. We spend all year touring different countries. I'm on a plane every two days. There will be a new album out someday. I couldn't even say if it will be this year.
Q: Can we expect a follow-up single after Pyromania though?
A: We've got one song under-wraps that I can't tell you about! It goes in the direction of Pyromania and Evacuate. It's one of my favourite tracks and its really cool, and that will probably be our next single in a few months...
