A X-rated version of the TV sitcom The Golden Girls is reportedly being produced.

The Award-winning series, which ran from 1985 to 1992, centred on four older woman who shared a home in Miami and starred Betty White, Rue McClanahan, Estelle Getty and the late Beatrice Arthur.

According to WENN **** company New Sensations have chosen the series as the unlikely focus of a parody. Filming on the project is due to get underway next week.
