With “Your Love Is My Drug” scheduled to be the third official single from Ke$ha’s debut album Animal, the singer is preparing to shoot a video for the song soon and has already penciled in director Honey to do the honors.
Honey’s directing style has been described as “unique”, and their previous credits include Crazy Town’s “Butterfly”, Paramore’s “Ignorance” and Dave Navarro’s “Rexall”. {source}
According to mediabase the song has already been getting a stack of spins at radio, and is also currently rising up the iTunes chart. It originally debuted at #27 on the Hot 100 during Animals release week, before falling off the charts as the singles “TiK ToK” and “Blah Blah Blah” hung around. Since being announced as the third official single “Your Love Is My Drug” has started rising again, last week making a big jump from 91-57.
