In addition to her English music, Lopez is also going to record an all new Spanish album. "I'm going to start working on a new Spanish album, probably in about a month, as well. Probably right as I finish the other one. I'll put [Love?] out this year and we'll ride that out and probably do the Spanish album for release next year."
While Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony have often worked together in the past, don't expect to hear her on Anthony's upcoming album, Iconos. "We didn't duet on this one. We are going solo. He is doing his thing and I'm doing my thing. We had our moment in our 3rd or 4th year married where we did everything together - El Cantante, we did the tour, we made all the music together, he produced my album, and you know, that was a beautiful time for us and we really enjoyed that, but I think we both kinda subconsciously said, it's time for us, we have a responsibility to our own individual fans, and we have to go off and do our own thing." But that doesn't mean they no longer support each other. Lopez went on to gush, "You guys are gonna love his new album. It's absolutely brilliant."
LOL, I was not expecting this. Como Ama Una Mujer barely sold 1M IDK why she will keep doing spanish albums, she should stick with her own language, but well. CAUM was great, hard to make a better job.
For some reason, states people are not frenzy for spanish anymore..
there was this latino surge with ricky martin, jennifer lopez, christina aguilera, daddy yankee, shakira.. etc.
and beyonce and nelly furtado were also trying to join it too. now the surge is receding?..
Um, her previous Spanish album did really well WW so I don't see a reason not to release another one
Anyways ... I think she sings better in Spanish than in English so I'm excited for this.
Hopefully this one consits of more uptempo tracks cause though I loved 'Coma Ama Una Mujer' it was way too ballad heavy.

your right.. the so called "latino waive" era seems to have died out but interestingly their is still a huge market urging for some representation.. at least shakira is still fighting and staying relevant just not so much in english.. i hope she can get that comeback she sooooo deserves.. j lo too
