He sounds really sincere, and I'm glad he admitted that he was hanging around some idiots in the past.
nn; at Jimmy trying to make excuses as to why he makes jokes about Justin. It's those people who make the jokes that encourage writers to do the same, and that ties in with music critics and then of course, the fans of music too (incl atrl).
Hopefully he stays out of trouble for the foreseeable future and he continues working hard.

He cried because of the emotion within the moment and reaction he received. He spoke of how he was booed the last time he performed at an award show. Then he explained how hard he's working to make a comeback, changed his ways, etc.
