The Australian Pretty Ricky tour promoter has defended the band on-stage sex show, saying it is no different to Madonna touching herself on stage.
Disgusted fans left the Christchurch show on Saturday night after a woman was picked out of the crowd to receive a dance from two of the band members.
Abby Suszko, who was in the front row, said the woman was sat on a chair by a band member and told to "uncross her f...... legs".
She said there were "grotesque movements" as it looked like the band member performed a sex act on the girl.
Suszko and her group left the show at that point, saying the behaviour was "degrading" to women.
Pretty Ricky has a reputation for sexualised lyrics, he said, and has "set an image" which is the reason for the performance.
It was no different to Madonna touching herself on stage at New York City's Madison Square Gardens in 2012.
"It's morally wrong... but she branded herself and the product with that sex appeal. It's really just all an act, or stage show, to give you that shock value," he said.

Is Madonna's iconic "Like a Virgin" performance really "like" a woman being on-stage and sexually exploited?
Edit: I just realized they're talking about something in 2012. What did she do then? The MDNA tour "Like a Virgin"? Sheesh, hardly scandalous.
