I've never played any of them but this girl I'm friends with is obsessed with 3 and 7.

Final Fantasy III and IV. My childhood!

7 by far
then Tactics
then 14 & 14-2
then 8

FFXIV is the only one I've played, so I guess 14.

12, definitely. So fun.

10 has the best story and characters though.

VII>X>IX>XII

Honestly, VIII. The story gets a lot of **** but everything about it appeals to my sense of aesthetic and some of the visuals are just gorgeous despite it's age.

X-2 second because it's just so damn fun and it's super campy (which I love). And all those outfits...

This is going to be a bit controversial but FFX-2. Allow me to explain, I'm a gameplay guy. Give me good gameplay and I'll pretend that the story doesn't need improvement. The gameplay in X-2 International was everything.

8 overall but I loved 7 and the entire XIII lightning series FF9 was trash.
