Classic rock by far. I like plenty of artists from that era and there's a lot of classics, but people act like it's some musical peak and it isn't. There's a variety of awful, awful songs by major artists but everyone looks at it with rose-colored glasses. And then the CR fans have the nerve to come at modern artists with stuff like "They can't sing" or "They're all show" or "They're all about sex and drugs" and it's like...do you ever look at your own artists....
And how is country overrated? It's very underrated as evidenced by the commonly heard "everything but country" response when someone is asked about what they listen to. Also, many music publications overlook the genre's biggest releases because it isn't a "cool" genre.
