It costs more than prison in life, so it's useless imo. If it was cheaper, maybe I would think about it for the worst 100% proven crimes.

Nope. You could argue in certain circumstances (like 100% proven beyond a reasonable doubt heinous crimes like 9/11) but as a general policy, no. Especially not for some of the crimes it is allowed for in certain states. And anyone who advocates for the death penalty even in light of the fact that innocent people are sentenced to death and executed with our tax dollars is a bad person.

I think it should be allowed in some cases, like murderers.
They take away someone's life, and ruin a lot of lives too. And after they do that, they can be in liberty after a few years (at least here). I don't think that's fair.

The problem with this is that innocent people are convicted all the time. We always hear stories of people narrowly escaping death row after appealing over and over (sometimes for DECADES) for murders they didn't commit. The question is probably different if we could "play God" (ie: be omniscient), be 100% certain someone committed a violent crime, and then punish them accordingly. But the criminal justice system is flawed (often by prosecutors who don't care about guilt/innocence, just about getting a conviction), so to support the death penalty means supporting the possibility of completely innocent people being executed, and with your own tax dollars, no less

You're right too. I think it only should be allowed if we're 100% right that person committed the crime.
