Cause many of you call Mariah Carey by a derogatory name for being confident, proud and assertive women. Explain what's wrong with being a confident woman. Cause I just don't understand.

Confidence is paired best with a sense of humility. Acting superior to everyone else doesn't make them have positive feelings about you. (I'm saying this is general btw, I don't much about Mariah Carey to comment on her character in particular).

There is nothing wrong with being arrogant. People should be allowed to be themselves without being looked down upon.

When I try to be humble it comes off as fake because it's not really who I am as a person. It's easier to be myself.

People are intimidated by confident people. I've lived with very low confidence for years and I've always admired the confidence Rih, Mariah, Bey, Kanye, Xtina, and Bono have. Yet people treat them like crap just because they believe in themselves. It's sick.

You can have an arguably exaggerated sense of your own abilities without it having anything to do with looking down on someone else.

I can't approve of arrogant people looking down on others. However, I'd argue many "arrogant" people are not very confident with themselves.
