Normally yes. I'm not paying that much when I have a wider variety outside of the theater. I mean I like popcorn, but I can't eat it anymore anyway so no point for me. I paid for the movie - that's it!
Nope. I always buy the food in there. I tried to smuggle raspberry lemonade sunny d and my mom was like oh hell naw and made me leave it in the car, so I smuggled it in my bag and drank it without her knowing
Nnn at you people not being allowed. In the UK, most cinemas let you take food in (as long as it's not hot food). My BFF and I used to sneak a Subway or Quiznos (when it was open here) when we weren't in the mood for the cinemas nachos.

Cinema food is extortionate pricing. I can afford it but I'm not paying high prices for something I can get cheaper in the Tesco next door.
Nope. Cinema popcorn is hella overpriced but worth it and adds to the experience.
There's nothing 'poor' or 'trashy' about bringing snacks to the cinema, though. Lke WTF? Some people are just smarter than others with their money, while others have a lot of growing up to do.
I remember this discussion being had on TV once and someone clocked everyone by saying "If you can't survive without food for 90 minutes then something is wrong with your life" .
