The verbal warfare between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ronda Rousey continued on Friday.
“Whoever she is… I wish her nothing but the best,” Mayweather said. “Good luck with everything.”
Mayweather’s response comes just days after Rousey participated in an Ask Me Anything chat on Reddit on Monday.
“Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time,” Rousey replied. “He would definitely beat me in a boxing match. I unfortunately don't get into ‘matches.’ I fight for a living.”
“In a no-rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet,” she concluded.
"Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at.
But you said ruleless fight, and that’s my honest answer.”
Mayweather had previously fired a shot back at Rousey and wondered how Mayweather “feels being beat by a woman for once” at the ESPYs. “I'd like to see him pretend to not know who I am now. I know for damn sure that he knew who I was, because he was against me for Best Fighter and he has signed MMA fighters.”
