Both Rick Nowels and Kieron Menzies are co-writing and co-producing Cedric Gervais new album, and John Ehmann (who signed Lana, before signing Cedric) is managing the album from Interscope's end. All three of these guys are part of Lana Del Rey's core team and behind the 'Honeymoon' era.

Also for a period of time, Lana Del Rey's managers Ben Mawson and Ed Millett co-managed both Lana and Cedric, before he joined dance-music specific management company that landed him a Vegas residency. They're still good friends, and I've seen Tap Management promoting Cedric's music, despite not managing him anymore, perhaps out of friendship.

So just consider how awkward and difficult it must be for Cedric and everyone above to have to tip-toe around Lana Del Rey and be treading on eggshells.
