Trump No. 1 in NBC poll after GOP debate, increases lead
A brand-new scientific poll taken in the wake of Thursday’s Republican debates and Donald Trump’s war of words with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly shows the billionaire developer increasing his lead at the top position, with GOP establishment candidates such as Jeb Bush and Chris Christie in a downward spiral.
The NBC News Online Survey was conducted online by SurveyMonkey from August 7-8, 2015 among a national sample of 3,551 adults aged 18 and over. The overnight poll was conducted for 24 hours from Friday evening into Saturday.
Trump ranked at No. 1, scoring 23 percent support, a gain of 1 percentage point from NBC’s previous poll.
I don't see why this would have to go in the election thread. Every Gaga doing something for AHS isn't in the AHS thread. Everything Azealia tweets doesn't go into one collective thread.
I'm happy Trump is in the lead, easier for Hillary to win

It would go in the election thread because it's an election poll. Its not as if he just stepped out for coffee. It's election news.

Again, not everything Gaga does that's AHS related is put in the AHS thread. Not every tweet Azealia makes it put into a collective thread. Celebrities get their own thread just for being shirtless or looking skinny on that day. This is completely fine on it's own.
America needs major reforms. This is the only guy who sees that. Wake up! Besides, Trump's social views are pretty liberal soooo what you gays waiting for?
Nate Silver seems to think Trump will struggle to win the Republican nomination as the GOP don't really think he can be relied upon to enact the Republican agenda if he was elected. I think that Trump will probably end up running as an independent, when the GOP give their nomination to someone else.
