Neymar has been ruled out of action for two weeks and will miss both the European and Spanish Super Cups after being diagnosed with parotisis (mumps).
Neymar, 23, has contracted the disease despite having already been vaccinated for mumps, and will sit out of Barca's European Super Cup against Sevilla in Tbilisi, Georgia on Tuesday.
The Brazil captain will also both legs of the Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao, due to be played on Aug. 14 and 17.
