“When I was young it was always Selena Gomez.” As Meyers held a side-by-side photo of the actresses, Hale said, “I thought it was really cool at the time because it was when she was dating Justin Bieber, and I would put on my sunglasses and people would actually come up to me and think I was her. And I would actually pose for the pictures. I would go with it.”
Hale noted a lot of times she would be at the airport about to board a flight when a fan’s mom would come up to her and tell her how much she loved “Wizards of Waverly Place,” on which Gomez starred 2007 to 2012. “I can’t crush their dreams,” said Hale, adding, “I couldn’t tell them I wasn’t Selena.”
All I know Lucy starred on WOWP in a few epis.
I read in some gossip site back then that David had a crush on Selena, the entire time he was dating Lucy.
