Hopefully there aren't any deaths besides the shooter.

When a traumatic event occurs, we will hear about similar ones happening, even if they aren't as traumatic. Don't be alarmed, they are not increasing in occurrence.

Seems to me like these shooters target people who are old enough to go to movies like this.

Notice how the other movie theatre shootings have been during The Dark Knight and Trainwreck. Both movies that are not G rated at least.

But I wish people would stop posting articles about shootings on here. All you're doing is making us worry when this doesn't happen all the time.

But gun violence isn't a real thing and there is no reason to talk about gun control.

Reading these incidents freak me as a regular movie goer. I'm literally debating if I'm going to see the Compton movie. People don't know how to act.

I grew up in Antioch TN, it's always been a bad part of town. Crime rate is extremely high. But, that's beside the matter. Why no mention of the hatchet and pepper spray in the op or in the main headline of the article?!

A gun does not do violence. A SUV does not run over a kid. A tree did not jump out and hit your car.

People do violence with the gun. Some follow the path of least resistance, gun free zones, but others don't and kill cops.

Did you know the marine that shot back at the terrorist might be charged with carrying and firing a gun in a gun free zone? This is how crazy Liberals are getting. What if they find out he fired the kill shot, are they going to charge him with murder?

This is literally down the street from me. So crazy! There are still so many police officers and SWAT team here.

He picked the least popular theater at the least busy time of day. This theater only shows movies that have been cycled out of most theaters. It's crazy because this theater is PACKED on the weekends and it seems like he planned this. I don't know, it seems like he just wanted to die by police. There were 8 people in the theater and he sprayed them with red pepper spray, planted fake bomb backpacks and only used a hatchet on someone.

They identified the shooter as 29 year old Vincente David Montano. He was carrying an air soft gun.
