Birtney's latest album and Pretty Girl effort were not bad but defently not convincing as her past efforts, as a stan I think something started to get lost after Blackout/Circus eras. Basiclly it feels like Britney has changed from a front runner in pop to another mainstream pop star which puts out things that doesn't set her apart from the rest. Yes, there was Work B!tch which was def' unique but it seems Britney needs a game changer in my eyes and as I stumble at this masterpiece down below I couldn't help but think that if Britney would take some risk in her career and put out something like Everytime, she could only gain things.
We all prayed for her team to release Inside Out, even if it's more a mid tempo than a ballad.
Most of her ballads are stand outs, given Everytime was written by her, that's even more impressive.
So, do you think Britney should take a change in her career and put out something unexpected, move along from the dance music she's been putting out in the past years and do something that will have the spirit of her old albums and more important, put out a ballad?
*Still loving her latest albums, still bopped to Pretty Girls and still stanning just as hard even thought BJ is my least fav' of her.
She released perfume and we all know what happened there.

OT: Yes. Britney's recent music, while not terrible, pales in comparison to her pre-FF music. I need her to be one of the main risk takers again.
I'll never understand ATRL's hatred for Perfume. I feel like Britney has a similar mindframe as J.Lo when it comes to music. She just wants to make fun music she enjoys, and I don't think she cares much about the charts or sales.
Perfume was cute but like Pop said, Everytime was personal. Perfume is nothing close to what I want her to release.
She needs to release something fresh and as much as I get the "do music you love", she used to have a special eye to cutting edge bops.. Now everything is on the verge of generic and Britney used to be nothing but.
