Here at Bench we are dedicated to championing the best new music and so we are delighted to announce the brilliant Jess Glynne has come on board as our new brand ambassador.
After storming the charts alongside Clean Bandit, with whom she released the three-time BRIT nominated and most streamed track of 2014, ‘Rather Be’, London-born Jess has since been developing her own sound as both singer and songwriter.
In addition to collaborating with deep house musician Route 94 for the Number 1 chart single, ‘My Love’, the rising star has also released her first debut single, ‘Right Here’, which was a UK Top 10 single and was produced by famed English garage duo Gorgon City.
Her addictive, soulful voice has garnered a great deal of critical and commercial acclaim, selling 7.5 million singles worldwide, and is the perfect soundtrack to the fun-loving and fast-paced city life that thrives from dusk ‘til dawn – thanks in no small part to a range of urban musical influences including Frank Ocean, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar.
It seems the only way is up for Jess, as she’s due to build her reputation as a solo artist with her latest single, ‘Hold My Hand’, which is due for UK release at the end of the month, with a debut studio album set for release in mid 2015.
We’ve got lots of exciting joint projects in the pipeline, you’ll have to watch this space!
Ugh, I used to wear Bench all the time. Didn't know it was still a thing. Here for Jess helping them get some relevance so that I can wear my old t-shirts again
