Yes. It feels like almost all of them are trying to be the Beyoncé/Cheryl/whoever of the group and it's so off-putting. The fact that Camila, the actual worst of all of them, is the one who's currently their biggest star is just hysterical.
They really have absolutely no group dynamic or chemistry whatsoever.
I see why people may think that, but honestly they're just trying to have fun. That's one of the reasons so many people like them so much - they really show their personalities in everything they do. It's not just "Member 1", "Member 2", etc... They all have distinct personalities and they want their audiences to see them as real people. It really doesn't come from them trying to steal the spotlight or anything like that - but again, I understand why people may think that if they don't know the group well enough.
That being said, Camila could use less vocal runs sometimes and Ally can tone down the theatrics a little bit.
