Is she currently killing the momentum inbetween her album eras?

Though she released 'rose ave.' with Dallas Green as You+Me last year but it felt much unnoticed by the public due to less commercial promotion.

Her last solo effort 'The Truth About Love' was released 3 years ago in September 2012. The Tour was in 2013. The last 'real' music video was published in July 2013 aka 'True Love'.

2014 was basically a dead year until her formed duo You+Me and their more or less independent release. 2015 doesn't seem to be too rosy either.

What are your views on this situation?

It feels long but she's been in the public eye... Oscars... rose ave in 2014. And this year she made headlines with her tweets. But it's time to come back

I feel like P!nk is one of the few artists who can take long breaks but still slay regardless.

P!nk has never really relied on hype or momentum before releasing. The pop audience isn't that essential to her recent career, so she relies on non-fickle audiences (HAC / AC) that will support her no matter how long she's been gone from the airwaves and the limelight

It hasn't even been 3 years yet. She always takes years in between albums. She has a loyal fanbase that will still be there when she comes back.

It won't affect her if she has a strong lead single. But it affect me because damn, I miss her.

I guess too soon isn't too healthy either. We've seen how that turned out with 'Try This'. The M!ss era wasn't ending properly, a few months later 'Feel Good Time' was released. Then 'Trouble', then 'Try This' and the damage was done. Don't get me wrong. 'Try This' is still one of her best despite these circumstances.

oh. i don't care for success. i want her to deliver a great album again. ttal was lackluster and forgettable compared to her other efforts. i need something timeless and trendsetting like m!ssundaztood again.

I would say yes since with JGMAR she managed to get pop completely on board. She always has HAC but she can't waste the pop momentum.

It doesn't matter because people are not hungry for her music. If she releases something, everyone will be fine with it. If she doesn't release anything, well... nobody misses her tbh.

Like everyone else said, she's an artist who can take a long break and come back with no problem. She doesn't trend jump or rely solely on pop radio, so as long as the music's good she'll do well.
